“Big Sexy” Billy Swanson

Billy grew up wrestling at a young age for Soddy Daisy Wrestling. He went on to be a two time state finalist and single time State Champion. As well as being a multiple time State Champion in both Freestyle and Greco, and was ranked nationally in high school in those styles. Billy then went on to wrestle in college for a year at King University, after no longer deciding to compete in college wrestling. He returned to Soddy Daisy and helped with the wrestling program for several years. In this time Billy got into mma and started training at Mma Institute in Dayton, Tennessee. About a year into training that gym closed, and then Billy went on to train under David Robins at American Killer Bees of Cleveland, Tennessee. He was able to accumulate a amateur record of 9-1, #1 in Tennessee and the Southeast, UMMAF National Champion, Valor Fights Amateur Heavyweight Champion, and Apex Fights Amateur Heavyweight Champion. As a Professional Fighter Billy’s Record stands at 4-3, and Billy is the AFC(Alabama Fighting Championship) Professional Heavyweight Champion. In the past year he has fought twice on short notice in two of the largest Promotions in the World (Bellator and PFL). Billy is the owner of Chattanooga Mixed Martial Arts College and is a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Israel Gomes of the American Killer Bees affiliation.
